Ro\u0111en je u Zanzibaru jer mu je otac tamo bio slu\u017ebenik britanskog kolonijalnog carstva. Odrastao je u Indiji, a sa 17 godina se s roditeljima preselio u Englesku. Tamo je diplomirao umjetnost i grafi\u010dki dizajn. Godine 1971. je s Brianom Mayom, Johnom Deaconom i Rogerom Taylorom osnovao grupu Queen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Imao je veliki raspon glasa (od basa do soprana). Zbog njegovog indijskog porijekla nazivali su ga prvom azijskom zvijezdom Velike Britanije. Bio je i kompozitor, te je komponirao mnoge hitove grupe Queen (\u201cBohemian Rhapsody\u201d, \u201cCrazy Little Thing Called Love\u201d, \u201cWe Are the Champions\u201d). Umro je na dana\u0161nji dan, 24. studenog 1991. godine\u00a0od AIDS-a, svega jedan dan nakon \u0161to je objavio svijetu da ima tu bolest.
